Absence of Light - A Grimdark Future Story

On the asteroid 433 Nightjar, the Alien Hives toil ceaselessly to extract rare and valuable minerals. Huge mining beasts devour the rock, sifting through for rare and exotic flavors. They aren't the only ones, though - a team of Jackal scavengers has been drawn to the remote destination as well. If Foreman Taher's crew can skim a little off the top of the Alien Hives operation (and get out without being caught) they'll never have to work again.
