Bill Baker used to be a miner on the human colony of Fisher's World - until one day the alien Hive Arktos descended on the defenseless planet. The Hive planned to seed the planet with new and strange lifeforms, and strip its mineral wealth  to feed their growing industry.

But that was three months ago, and for Bill Baker, life goes on (nearly) the same as before...
