Fellow Travelers - A Grimdark Future Story

As the elven Fleet Lykandos sails through the void, small survey teams are sent ahead to chart a course. The work of these teams is highly prestigious - and highly dangerous. When Pilot Festus's team crashes on an unfamiliar moon and his commanding officer is badly wounded, he can only escape with help from a most unexpected source.

Better not tell the Surveyors' Council about this one, Pilot.
