Fragment Recovered From A Derelict Life Pod - A Grimdark Future Story

The Marrakesh, a Black Sky Line passenger ship making the monthly run from Hal Yawm to Rocannon's World, has been missing for six months. It is the hope of the Ancient and Honorable Guild of Transcribers that this fragment, bequeathed to us by a deep-space salvageman of our acquaintance, will shed some light on this mysterious disappearance and bring closure to the families of the lost.
