Company A, of the 83rd Augmented Artillery, is a unit with a long and proud history of service in the Human Defense Forces. This foreword to their official company history hopes to summarize the events leading to A/83's founding, and hopefully dispel some common misconceptions about extranormal specialists ("psychics", "wizards", or other more informal terms are considered unsuitable for use in official Alliance documentation).
