Mightier - An Age of Fantasy Story

Orsinia Santarossa is a graduate student at the Università di San Simeone del Cristallo, in the Duchies of Vinci. She is brilliant and devoted to knowledge in all its forms; unfortunately for her, she had the audacity to be born poor. Her advisor, the arrogant and lecherous Professor Iacopo Cornacchia, makes her do all the work on his manuscripts and takes all the credit, holding the threat of revoking her scholarship over her head.

Which is fine. She can grit her teeth and take it. In four months, she'll defend her thesis and then she'll be out from under his thumb for good. She won't need his patronage to access the Università's library. But returning from a research trip, their carriage is waylaid by goblins on the road...
